Houston Baseball will hold its annual Fan Appreciation Day & Alumni Game on Saturday, Feb. 10, at 12:30 p.m. ... Gates will open at 10:30 a.m. ... The event is free and open to the public ... For more information, click here ... 2018 season tickets are on sale ... Season tickets for 29 regular-season home games are available for $200 for the reserved chairback seating on the lower level of the concourse of the stadium ... For the fourth straight year, the additional "Reserved 2" seating option for the 2018 season is available as fans can purchase an assigned seat in sections 200, 201 and 202 for $150 ... General admission seating will run in sections 203-209 and are available for $100 for the entire season ... The Baseball Flex 20 Plan is also on sale ... The Flex 20 plan allows fans to experience games at Schroeder Park how they wish (1 per game or multiple per game). The new Flex 20 vouchers MUST be claimed prior to gameday and inventory to each game is subject to availability.
MEN'S BASKETBALL
Last Week
Houston Men's Basketball went 1-1 on the week. After falling 81-72 at Tulane on Wednesday, the Cougars bounced back with a 73-59 upset over No. 7/4 Wichita State on Saturday to improve to 15-4 on the season and 5-2 in American Athletic Conference play.

At Tulane, senior guard Rob Gray led all players with 24 points ... Junior Corey Davis Jr. (15 points), senior Devin Davis (10 points) and sophomore Armoni Brooks (10 points) also recorded double figures in the loss ... Freshman forward Fabian White Jr. tied his career high with 12 rebounds and added four assists and a game-high four blocked shots ... Against No. 7/4 Wichita State, Gray again netted 24 points, his 10th 20-point game of the season and 35th of his career ... Houston limited the Shockers to a season-low 32.8 shooting percentage (19-of-58) from the field and did not allow Wichita State to reach double-digits until nearly 13 minutes had passed in the first half ... The Cougars also forced 18 turnovers, the most for Wichita State in American Athletic Conference play this season ... For his efforts, Gray was named to The American Weekly Honor Roll ... As the former Hofheinz Pavilion is transformed into the $60-million Fertitta Center, the Cougars will play their 2017-18 home games inside Health & PE Arena on the campus of nearby Texas Southern University.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Last Week
Houston Women's Basketball went 1-1 on the week. The Cougars rolled to a 99-75 win at Temple on Tuesday, before falling in overtime, 80-78, at ECU on Saturday to move to 15-6 overall and 4-3 in American Athletic Conference play.

At Temple, four Cougars scored in double figures, including a game-high 29 points from sophomore Jasmyne Harris ... Sophomore Angela Harris finished with 24 points, while sophomore Dorian Branch and junior Serithia Hawkins, netted 16 and 12, respectively ... The four also combined to make all of Houston's program-record, 15 3-pointers, including five each from Branch and Angela Harris ... At ECU, four Houston players again finished in double figures ... Hawkins led all with 22 points and recorded eight rebounds for a second consecutive game ... Jasmyne Harris finished with 21 points, her 11th 20-point game of the season, while Branch added 13 points and Angela Harris had 11 ... For her effort, Jasmyne Harris was named to The American Weekly Honor Roll.

Houston Football Head Coach Major Applewhite rounded out his 2018 coaching staff Monday with the hiring of Paul Williams (cornerbacks) and LaMar Morgan (safeties) to his roster of 10 assistant coaches. ... For more information about the two new coaches, click here.

Houston Men's Golf fans are invited to attend the program's annual fundraiser at the Insperity Dave Williams Cougar Am, set for 1 p.m., Monday, Feb. 12, at Golf Club of Houston ... All proceeds benefit Project 17, the Houston Men's Golf booster club ... Individual and team spots are open, but interested fans are encouraged to make reservations ... Teams can purchase a foursome for $5,000, while individuals can play for $1,250 per person ... That provides participants with opportunities to play with a Champions Tour professional or former Houston Golf star and includes food, drinks and a tee gift ... Fans are invited to join the nationally ranked Houston Women's Golf team's annual fundraiser, slated to begin at 3 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 14 ... The fun-filled event will be held at Topgolf Spring (560 Spring Park Center Blvd., Spring, TX 77373) ... All proceeds from the event benefit the Houston Women's Golf program ... Head Coach Gerrod Chadwell, Associate Head Coach Lucy Nunn and student-athletes will be on hand to participate with fans ... Tickets are available for $175 per person or $700 per foursome with snacks, dinner, drinks and a gift provided for each player ... Two-time LPGA Player of the Year Stacy Lewis Chadwell will be a special guest at the event ... Participants will also enjoy a silent auction with a variety of prizes. Fans can get their first look at the 2018 Houston Softball team when it hosts its annual Red-White Series across Feb. 2-3 at Cougar Softball Stadium ... The Cougars will split into two teams and play a best-of-three-game intrasquad series ... Game times are 5:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 2, and 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 3, with the if-necessary game to follow at noon ... Admission is free to the public ... Houston enters the 2018 campaign picked second in the American Athletic Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll ... The Cougars open their schedule at Texas A&M's Aggie Classic on Feb. 9.

Houston won four of the first five events ... The team of Laura Laderoute, Peyton Kondis, Victoria Tillman and Zarena Brown won the 400 Medley Relay with a time of 3:45.24 ... Brown also swam 1:50.49 to win the 200 Freestyle and later won the 100 Freestyle in 51.41 and 500 Freestyle in 4:56.54 ... At the Mark Colligan Memorial, sophomore Elijah Hall ran the nation's second-fastest time in the 200-meter dash in 20.76, just five-hundredths of a season off his school-record mark, to take gold ... Sophomore Samiyah Samuals took gold in the long jump with a leap of 19-7.5 (5.98m) ... Sophomore Brianne Bethel took gold in the 60-meter dash in 7.37 as the Cougars swept the podium ... Sophomore Sierra Smith took the silver in 7.50, while freshman Ariele Adams clocked a personal-best 7.55 to take third ... Bethel later made it a clean sweep with a win in the 200-meter dash ... Bethel posted the nation's eighth-fastest time with a clocking of 23.78 ... Junior Kahmari Montgomery won the 400-meter dash with a time of 46.83, the fourth-fastest time in program history and No. 9 on the NCAA list this season ...
