Houston Establishes Director of Athletics Cabinet

HOUSTON â€" University of Houston Vice President for Athletics Hunter Yurachek announced Monday the creation of a Houston Director of Athletics Cabinet and the promotion of five administrators.
Yurachek will oversee seven senior associate athletic directors who will serve on the cabinet. Senior Associate AD for Student-Athlete Development/SWA DeJuena Chizer and Senior Associate AD for Resource Generation Marvin Julich will be joined on the cabinet by five recently promoted senior staff members.

Jeff Collier has been named Houston's Senior Associate AD for Finance and Human Resources, Lauren DuBois Senior Associate AD for Compliance, Academics and Financial Aid, Bruce Gregory Senior Associate AD for Event Operations, Facilities and Grounds, TJ Meagher Senior Associate AD for Capital Projects and David Bassity Senior Associate AD for Strategic Communications and Digital Media.
The Houston Director of Athletics Cabinet will be responsible for setting the future strategic course of Houston Athletics while overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department.
