THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The University of Houston Women's Golf program stood in 11th place Monday after posting a first-day score of 588 during The Dickson first day at The Woodlands Country Club.
The Cougars opened the first home tournament in program history with a score of 291 and followed that with a 297 in the afternoon session on the 6,392-yard, par-72 layout.
Individually, sophomore Leonie Harm continued her steady play of late. The Gerlingen, Germany, native, who was named American Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week on Wednesday, finished the first day with a score of even-par 144 and was tied for 18th.
Harm drained four birdies during her first 10 holes, including three in a four-hole stretch, to post the Cougars' low round of the day. She will be looking for her third straight top-10 finish during Tuesday's Final Round.
Junior Allie Andersen, who hails from The Woodlands, Texas, fired a 71 in the morning round and was tied for 36th at 146.
No. 3 Florida State posted consecutive sub-par rounds and held the team lead at 554 to stand 15 strokes ahead of No. 42 SMU. No. 10 Kent State stood in third at 575 with No. 18 Purdue (577), No. 35 Texas Tech (577) and No. 17 Texas A&M (577) rounding out the top-6 leaders.
The tournament features nine of the nation's top-50 programs.
Florida State Morgan Metraux and Texas A&M's Maddie Szeryk were tied for the individual lead at 9-under 135. Kent State's Wad Phaewchimplee and SMU's Brigitte Dunne were tied for third at 138, while Kent State's Pimnipa Panthong stood in fifth at 139
Junior Ivon Reijers was tied for 36th at 147, while junior Megan Thothong was tied for 60th at 151. Freshman Amanda Elich was tied for 68th at 154.
Competing as individuals, junior Kelli Rollo was tied for 63rd at 152, while junior Courtney Tibiletti was tied for 66th at 153. Sophomore Tatiana Pineda was tied for 69th at 154 with sophomore Kailey Collier tied for 82nd at 161.

FINAL-ROUND PAIRINGS
Tuesday's Final Round begins with an 8 a.m., shotgun start. Admission is free, and all fans are invited to attend. The Cougars will compete in groups with student-athletes from UTSA and Tulane.
Harm begins in the first group off No. 9 with Reijers (first group off No. 10), Andersen (second group off No. 10) Elich (first group off No. 11) and Thothong (second group off No. 11) following.
Tibiletti and Pineda will be in the first group off No. 15 with Rollo (second group off No. 15) and Collier (No. 17) following.
ABOUT THE DICKSON
This is the first tournament in which the young Houston Women's Golf program plays host.
The event was named in honor of Jim Dickson, who recently retired as the director of golf for The Woodlands Country Club and has long been a friend of Houston Men's and Women's Golf.
UP NEXT
Following The Dickson, the Cougars will compete at the MountainView Collegiate on March 10-12 at Mountain View Golf Club in Tucson, Ariz.
From there, the team will take part in the Clover Cup at Longbow Golf Club on March 17-19 in Mesa, Ariz.
