NEW ORLEANS -- Sophomore Leonie Harm recorded her second top-10 finish in an eight-day stretch, tying for 10th at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate Championship with a score of 1-over 217 on Monday afternoon.
As a team, the Cougars posted a score of 891 to tie for ninth in a field, which featured nine of the nation's top-50 programs.
The tournament was originally scheduled for 54 holes over 18 days, beginning Sunday morning. However, the threat of rain on Tuesday in New Orleans prompted coaches and administrators to play 36 holes Monday to avoid the threat.
Starting on No. 3, Harm enjoyed her first birdie of the Second Round on No. 6 but suffered through three straight bogeys. Fortunately, the Gerlingen, Germany, native rebounded with a birdie on No. 11 and, after five straight pars, added her third and final birdie in the morning session on No. 17 to finish with an even-par 72 for the second straight round.
In the afternoon, Harm sank a pair of birdies on the way to a 73.
On Feb. 14, Harm captured the first individual title of her collegiate career, earning medalist honors at the Texas State Invitational at The Bandit Golf Club in New Braunfels, Texas.
Junior Allie Andersen tied for 16th with a score of 218. The Woodlands, Texas, native opened her day with a 71 in the morning round for the team's low score of the day.
Andersen, who is in her first season with the Cougars after transferring from Colorado State, drained four birdies through her first eight holes, and later added a 73 in the afternoon.
Junior Megan Thothong tied for 41st at 226, while junior Courtney Tibiletti tied for 70th at 234. Junior Ivon Reijers tied for 79th with a 236.
No. 1 Stanford captured the team title with a score of 863 to finish 11 strokes ahead of No. 3 Florida. No. 20 Oklahoma State and No. 23 Arizona tied for third at 875 with No. 11 Miami (Fla.) (877), No. 43 Clemson (888), No. 21 Texas (889) and Washington (889) rounding out the top-eight leaders.
Arizona's Haley Moore won the individual championship with a score of 210, while Andrea Lee finished second at 212. Stanford's Casey Danielson and Dewi Weber of Miami (Fla.) tied for third at 213.
