Women's Golf Hosts Fundraiser at Top Golf in Spring

SPRING, Texas -- The University of Houston Women's Golf team will host a fundraiser with fans who can participate as individuals or in teams at Top Golf, beginning at noon, April 7.
The fundraiser, which will be presented by ICON Information Consultants, features special guest Stacy Lewis, who currently plays on the LPGA Tour and is a two-time LPGA Player of the Year. Fans have the chance to meet coaches and student-athletes from the team with food and drinks provided.
Teams of four can play for $1,000, while individuals can play for $250 at Top Golf (560 Spring Park Center Blvd, Spring, TX, 77373). For questions or to sign up, fans should contact Zona Trahan at zltrahan@central.uh.edu.
This marks the second straight season in which the Cougars have held this fundraiser at Top Golf. A year ago, the Cougars competed as a team for the first time in the program's brief 3-year history and advanced to the NCAA San Antonio Regional in their first year of NCAA postseason eligibility.
Proceeds from the event benefit Houston Women's Golf's P.A.R. 4 Club., which provides financial support directly to Houston Women's Golf for needs beyond the program's operating budget. Donations to the P.A.R. 4 Club are used at the discretion of the head coach.

UP NEXT
Following the UNF Collegiate, the Cougars travel east on Interstate 10 to compete at the LSU Tiger Classic in Baton Rouge, La., on March 20-22.
From there, the team will compete at the HBU Husky Invitational at Riverbend Country Club in Sugar Land, Texas, on March 28-29
