Monday's Tom Herman Golf Classic Sold Out

HOUSTON - The 2015 Tom Herman Golf Classic set for Monday, June 22, at the Sweetwater Country Club in Sugar Land is officially sold out with 55 teams competing on the club's two 18-hole courses. The event, which benefits Houston Football scholarships, is set for a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start with registration and lunch opening at 11 a.m.
Registration for the event includes a deli buffet lunch, gift package, driving range access, golf cart, green fee, closest to the pin contests, refreshments on the course, locker room access and a post-tournament awards dinner.
All nine Houston Football assistant coaches will be auctioned off during Monday's lunch to play as extra members on nine lucky teams. The assistant coach auction will begin at 12:30 p.m. inside the Sweetwater Country Club clubhouse.
Monday's participants will also have the opportunity to meet Herman and Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Hunter Yurachek on the course during their round.

The day begins with registration and lunch at 11:00 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. and will conclude with the post-tournament awards dinner featuring live and silent auctions. Dinner attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Herman as he reports on the latest news from the Houston Football program and gives insight on the upcoming season.
A record $4.5 million was donated by Cougar Pride members for Houston student-athlete scholarships for the 2014-15 academic year.
