The holidays are here, but so is Bowl Week as the Cougars prepare to take on Florida State in Atlanta this week for the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl - set for Thursday, Dec. 31 at 11 a.m. CT on ESPN and KPRC 950 AM.

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 30 |
10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. | Football Chalk Talk / Football Feud Battle for Bowl Week

Houston Football took part in a Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl luncheon on Wednesday afternoon, while head coach Tom Herman participated in a Chalk Talk during lunch with FSU head coach Jimbo Fisher.
Following the Chalk Talk, selected student-athletes participated in the final Battle for Bowl Week Challenge that featured an offensive and defensive group for Football [Family] Feud.
Heading into the final competition, tied at 2-2, Houston dominated the 'Family' portion of the Battle for Bowl Week over Florida State and came away on top of the Seminoles to claim the Championship Belt.
8:30 a.m. - 10 a.m. CT | Head Coaches Press Conference | Press Conference Quotes

Houston Football Head Coach Tom Herman and Florida State Head Coach Jimbo Fisher met with the media at the joint Head Coaches Press Conference on Wednesday morning to preview the upcoming Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.
TUESDAY, DEC. 29 |

3 p.m. - 5 p.m. CT | Practice in the Georgia Dome | Practice Quotes

Houston practiced for the last time inside the Georgia Dome on Tuesday as the social media focus was on wide receivers, quarterbacks and linebackers.
Cougar alum and current DT for the Atlanta Falcons Joey Mbu also stopped by practice to see his former teammates in action.
11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. CT | Hospital Visit to Scottish Rite Children's Hospital of Atlanta

Several Houston Football student-athletes took time out of their busy week to visit the children of the Children's Hospital of Atlanta Scottish Rite. The Cougars played football, signed memorabilia and played games with the patients before practice in the Georgia Dome.
9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. CT | Offensive Press Conference | Press Conference Quotes

The Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl hosted the Offensive Press Conference on Tuesday morning to continue the media portion of the Bowl Week. The Cougars were represented by Tyler McCloskey, Greg Ward Jr., Kenneth Farrow, Demarcus Ayers, Alex Cooper and Offensive Coordinator Major Applewhite.
MONDAY, DEC. 28 |

6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. CT | Andretti Karting & Games - Battle for Bowl Week Challenge #3

Houston Football was able to break away from the football field for a few hours on Monday evening - taking on its third Battle for Bowl Week Challenge, which was held at the Andretti Karting and Games Center outside Atlanta.
The Cougars had an all-access event of the Andretti racing track as well as its gaming center and both players and coaches took part in the night's event.
1:30 pm. - 3:30 p.m. CT | Practice inside the Georgia Dome | Practice Quotes

Houston Football made its way into the Georgia Dome on Monday for its second practice in Atlanta since arriving for the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. The Cougars took advantage of the indoor dome faciltiy in the rainy Atlanta weather and practiced for two hours in preparation for Florida State on Thursday.
Monday's social media focus was on the offensive and defensive lines.
8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. CT | Defensive Press Conference | Press Conference Quotes

The Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl hosted the Defensive Press Conference on Monday morning to kick off the media portion of the Bowl Week. The Cougars were represented by Trevon Stewart, Adrian McDonald, B.J. Singleton, Steven Taylor, Elandon Roberts and Defensive Coordinator Todd Orlando.
SUNDAY, DEC. 27 |

7:30 p.m. CT | Bowl Gift Pick-Up

Rewarded for its strong play during the season and its selection into the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, Houston Football was awarded its bowl gifts for the week: $300 gift card, Chick-fil-A gift card, bluetooth speaker, personalized commemorative football and a watch from the bowl committee.
7 p.m. CT | Battle for Bowl Week Challenge #3: Hot-Shot Basketball

After taking a 2-0 lead in the Battle for Bowl Week Challenges, Florida State earned the win in the Hot-Shot Basketball event, but the Cougars will enter the fourth event with a 2-1 lead.
5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. CT | Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site & Ebenezer Baptist Church Visit

Houston Football became a part of Atlanta's history on Sunday evening when it visited the National Historic Site of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Ebenezer Church and burial site.
12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. CT | Practice in Atlanta at Georgia State University | Practice Quotes

Houston Football had its first practice in Atlanta at Georgia State University on Sunday afternoon. The focus for the practice was on the secondary unit, running backs, tight ends and specialists.
The Cougars continue to prepare for their NY6 Bowl vs. Florida State on Dec. 31 at 11 a.m. CT on ESPN and KPRC 950 AM.
SATURDAY, DEC. 26 |

6 p.m. - 9 p.m. CT | Team Welcome Event / Battle for Bowl Week Challenges / College Football Hall of Fame Tour


Houston Football dominated the Battle for Bowl Week, winning the first two challenges of the week over Florida State. The Cougars captured the Chick-fil-A Milkshake Challenge with participants Ben Dew, Alex Cooper and Will Noble taking the first crown.
Houston went on to steal the show during the Lip Sync Battle, which featured entertaining performances from Garrett Davis, Coach Jason Washington and Marcus Dillard for the clean sweep on Saturday evening.
Following the Bowl Week Challenges, Houston Football got the full all-access tour of the College Football Hall of Fame, which featured Cougar Greats Coach Bill Yeoman and Andre Ware (to name a few) gracing the walls.
5 p.m. CT | Media Availability | Press Conference Quotes

Head Coach Tom Herman and student-athletes Elandon Roberts and Alex Cooper met with the media upon arriving in Atlanta for the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.
12:30 p.m. - 3 p.m. CT | Travel to Atlanta

Houston made the short 1.5 hour flight east to Atlanta in preparation for the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Week.
