FAN APPRECIATION DAY AND COUGAR YOUTH EXPERIENCE
Houston Athletics will hold its annual Fan Appreciation Day and Cougar Youth Experience from 3:30-5:30 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 2, prior to Houston Football's first practice of the season, which is open to the public at 6 p.m.
Coaches and players from the Houston Football, Soccer and Volleyball programs will be available inside the Athletics/Alumni Center (3100 Cullen Blvd.) during the two-hour time period for autograph signings, photos and to help run the Cougar Youth Experience where Houston's younger fans will have the opportunity to compete in individual athletic drills much like today's student-athletes. Due to NCAA regulations, the Cougar Youth Experience is only available for those in eighth grade or younger.
2014 Houston Football season ticket holders will have the first opportunity to receive the autographs they covet as at each of the autograph stations, a season ticket holder fast lane will be in use for the 4:25 p.m. start.
