Student Packages Announced for Armed Forces Bowl

HOUSTON - The University of Houston Athletics Department announced student packages Monday for UH's trip to the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl as the Cougars take on Pittsburgh on Jan. 2 in Fort Worth. UH Students will have three options with travel and lodging provided in two options and students providing their own travel and lodging in the other.
Packages are on sale now in person from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Houston Athletics Ticket Office located at Gate 1 on the northeast corner of TDECU Stadium and online here.
Students who purchase a package by Dec. 17 will automatically be entered into drawings for footballs autographed by the Houston Football team and a Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl gift package.

UH students can purchase the official student travel package for just $40 for quadruple occupancy or $70 for double occupancy. The travel package includes one student ticket, bus transportation to and from Fort Worth, one night hotel accommodation in Fort Worth, access to the UHAA pregame party and a bowl gift courtesy of UHAA. Those who purchase a package have the ability to purchase one additional travel package for a guest for $191.50 for double occupancy and $160 for quadruple occupancy.
Buses will depart from Houston on Thursday, Jan. 1 (approximate time to be announced) and will return from Fort Worth following the game on Friday, Jan. 2. The deadline to sign up for the Travel Package is Friday, Dec. 19.
The hospitality package is priced at just $20 and will include one student ticket, access to the UHAA pregame party with a bowl gift courtesy of UHAA and the ability to purchase one additional Hospitality Package for $55 for a guest. The deadline to sign up for the Hospitality Package is Monday, Dec. 29.
Packages are valid for UH students only and are unavailable for non-UH students unless purchased as an official guest by a UH student.
Houston faces Pittsburgh from the ACC at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 2, at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth. The game will be televised by ESPN and air on the official flagship station of Houston Athletics, KPRC 950 AM.
