HOUSTON - After tying an American Athletic Conference single-game record with four rushing touchdowns in Houston's win over Tulsa Saturday, Kenneth Farrow was named The American's Offensive Player of the Week Monday. Farrow was one of two Houston players honored Monday as freshman cornerback Howard Wilson was named to the league's weekly honor roll.

The junior running back finished the day with 116 yards for his fourth 100-yard rushing game of the year. Houston is 4-0 this season in games that Farrow eclipses the century mark.
The four touchdowns in a single game tied Farrow with Anthony Aldridge, Bryce Beall and Joffrey Reynolds for second most in a game and was one shy of the UH single-game record of five set by Antowain Smith on Nov. 9, 1996 vs. Southern Miss.
Farrow was responsible for the game's first two scores with a pair of one-yard touchdown runs in the first quarter before reeling a 45-yard scamper midway through the third quarter. He would score what would go on to be the winning touchdown on a two-yard run with 3:06 remaining in the game as Houston would end the day with a 38-28 win.
Wilson earned a spot on the weekly honor roll after recording a career-high 15 tackles along with adding his third interception of the season on the first play of the fourth quarter to end a Tulsa drive. The interception gave Houston its 33rd straight game with a forced turnover, the second-longest active streak in the nation behind the 34-game streak from Ole Miss.
