Houston SAAC Food Drive Runs Through Tuesday

HOUSTON - The University of Houston's Student-Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) will hold its main drop off this weekend for its "Houston SAACs Hunger" drive that runs through Tuesday. The group is looking to best its 2013 effort when it provided enough food for over 3,000 meals through the collection of non-perishable goods.
This year, SAAC has set a goal of collecting enough food for over 5,000 meals for the less fortunate.
Houston fans can donate to the drive beginning Friday when Houston Volleyball hosts USF at 7 p.m. inside the Athletics/Alumni Center. Houston Volleyball fans can also make a donation Sunday when the Cougars host UCF at 1 p.m. Friday and Sunday's drop off point will be located at the Gameday central located at the main entrance of the Cougar Den.
Gate 1 of TDECU Stadium, located on the facility's northeast corner, offers the setting for the second opportunity to donate canned goods as fans attending Saturday's game vs. Tulsa at 11 a.m.
Finally, fans on Saturday can deliver canned goods to the Houston Men's Basketball Home Opener vs. Morgan State at 7 p.m. inside Hofheinz Pavilion. Saturday evening's drop off point will be located at Gameday Central located behind sections 105 and 106.
Fans who would like to donate to the cause on Monday or Tuesday can drop off canned goods at the University of Houston Athletics Communications office, located on the second floor of the Athletics/Alumni Center at 3100 Cullen Blvd., by 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Single-game ticket sales for the final game of the inaugural season in TDECU Stadium start at $36 per person for reserved seats and $25 for general admission. Tickets for the Nov. 22 game vs. Tulsa can be purchased by calling the Houston Athletics Ticket Office at 713-GO-COOGS (462-6647) or by clicking here.
HOUSTON FOOTBALL GROUP TICKET INFORMATION
Single-game group ticket sales for the final game of the inaugural season in TDECU Stadium are on sale via the Houston Athletics Ticket Office.
