Track Set For 54th Annual Mt. Sac Relays

HOUSTON - The University of Houston track and field teams will travel to Walnut, Calif., on Thursday for the 54th annual Mt. Sac Relays held at Hilmer Lodge Stadium, located on the campus of Mt. San Antonio College.
The Mt. Sac Relays is a large event, which includes collegiate, open, high school, elite and Olympic development sections. Thursday evening will highlight the distance events, while Friday and Saturday will include all other track and field events.
Houston will be joined in competition by many colleges and universities, including Arizona, Arizona State, Boise State, USC, UCLA, Iowa State, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Georgia, and Oregon State.
The three day meet is slated to begin at 2:30p.m., on Thursday with the women's 1,500m run.

Some of the world's top track and field athletes will also compete this weekend. Allyson Felix and Carmelita Jeter (100M) are among the top women to compete and Martyn Rooney and Jeremy Wariner (400M) will be among the men's stars competing.
