Texas Relays Open With Multi-Events

AUSTIN, Texas - The 85th annual Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays commenced on Wednesday with the first half of the men's decathlon events and the women's heptathlon events. Megan Frausto is the lone University of Houston multi-event competitor, representing the Cougars in the heptathlon.
The women's heptathlon field is very talented, as Frausto is in competition with six other women, who also recently competed at the NCAA Indoor National Championships in the multi-events.
Frausto, is currently in 14th place after four events with 3,111 points. West Virginia's Chelsea Carrier-Eades is the current leader with her total of 3,536.

UP NEXT
The remaining heptathlon and decathlon events will start Thursday, beginning with the men's 110m hurdles at 11 a.m. The first heptathlon event on Thursday will be the long jump at noon. The field events will kick off with the university/college women's hammer throw at 12:30 p.m. The first running events of the weekend start at 4:30 p.m. with the university/college women's 400m hurdles. The evening session starts at 7:30 p.m. with the university/college 1500m run.
