Houston Athletics Invites Fans to Join Cougar Social Media

HOUSTON - Picture this: It's a beautiful weekend afternoon. The sun is out, the burgers are grilling, the Cougars are playing and you're sitting inside at some random event that you have been forced to go to.
And the worst part about it is, you can't check the score on your smart phone, because you don't follow the Cougars on Facebook or Twitter.
When your favorite Cougar sports teams open their seasons in 2011-12, you are going to want to be in attendance. Just in case you cannot be there, you're going to want to have a way to get live in-game updates as often as possible. You can do that by following the Cougars on one of their social networks.
Along with in-game updates, following the Cougars on Facebook or Twitter allows you access to exclusive behind-the-scenes interviews, photo albums and more. The social networks will even give you the opportunity to compete in contests and win the occasional prize or two.
Fans can sign up free of charge to receive the latest information on all Cougar teams. Invite your friends... invite your friends' friends to follow all the Cougars' athletics programs during the upcoming seasons.
