HOUSTON - The University of Houston track and field team completed the second day of the NCAA Championships in Des Moines, Iowa, Thursday afternoon.
Grecia Bolton, competing in her third event of the Championships, took 16th place in the 200m in 23.27.
Seniors Jonathan Williams and Chris Carter finished in 19th and 23rd place in the long jump. Williams hit 7.42m/24-4.25, just an inch away from his personal best in the event. Carter jumped 6.89m/22-7.25 in his final attempt. He fouled the first two attempts.
DeMeeka Jones placed 21st in the 100m hurdles with her time of 13.81.
