Houston Announces Multi Events Field for Indoor Invitational

HOUSTON - The University of Houston track and field coaching staff released the multi events field for the Houston Indoor Invitational on Jan. 29-30 at Yeoman Fieldhouse. Fifteen men were selected to compete in the heptathlon while 14 women will participate in the pentathlon.
All of the pentathlon events will be completed on Friday, beginning with the 60m hurdles at noon and concluding with the 800m run at 4 p.m. The men's events will be stretched over both days of the meet with the 60m dash commencing at 12:30 p.m. on Friday and the 1000m run wrapping up the heptathlon Saturday afternoon.
Other schools participating in the meet are Houston Baptist, Incarnate Word, Lamar, McNeese State, Nicholls State (women), Northwestern State, Northwood University, Prairie View, Rice, Southeast Louisiana, Southern Miss., Southern (N.O.), Southwest Christian, Stephen F. Austin, TAMU-Kingsville, Texas Lutheran (women), Texas Southern, Texas State, Texas-Pan American, Louisiana-Lafayette and UTSA.
