HOUSTON - The Texas A&M Invitational was cancelled Saturday, Sept. 12 due to heavy rains. All measures were taken to proceed with the meet but the coaching staff ultimately decided that, due to field conditions and safety concerns, the meet should be cancelled.
The University of Houston cross country team plans to focus on its next event at LSU on Saturday, Sept. 26 in Baton Rouge, La.
