University of Houston senior captain Ivan Diggs was named the Conference USA Track & Field Co-Male Athlete of the Week following the LSU Alumni Gold Invitational.
It marked the third conference athlete of the week honor this year for the three-time All-American.
Entering the meet ranked third in the nation, Diggs racked up his fourth-consecutive collegiate win in the high jump to lead the Cougars at the meet.
The Wichita, Kan., native cleared an NCAA regional qualifying 2.14m (7-00.25) to take first place. Diggs is the only high-jumper in C-USA to clear any mark higher than two meters this season, surpassing it for the fourth time.
