HOUSTON - The honors continue to roll in for University of Houston junior quarterback Case Keenum who on Thursday was named to the Walter Camp Football Foundation All-America Second Team. The Walter Camp Foundation All-America Team is the nation's oldest All-America team and was announced live during The Home Depot ESPNU College Football Awards Show.
Keenum, who has already picked up the 2009 Sammy Baugh Award, which is presented to the nation's top passer, and was named the Conference USA Most Valuable Player this week was one of the country's most outstanding individual performers this season. The Abilene, Texas, native threw for 5,449 yards and 43 touchdowns during the 2009 campaign while completing 71 percent of his passes.
The Walter Camp All-America team is selected by the head coaches and sports information directors of the 120 Football Bowl Subdivision schools and certified by UHY Advisors, a New Haven-based accounting firm.
