Track and Field to Travel to Dan DeHart Invitational

HOUSTON - The University of Houston track and field team will continue the indoor season when they travel to Albuquerque, New Mexico for the Dan DeHart Invitational on Friday.
The two-day meet begins at 6 p.m. on Friday and at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Houston will be among 18 teams competing at the event, which includes Arizona, Arizona State, BYU (women only), Cal Poly (women only), California, Colorado State (multis only), Kansas, Kansas State, Long Beach State, New Mexico, New Mexico State (women only), Texas (heptathlon only), Texas Tech, UT-San Antonio (women only), Wayland Baptist (heptathlon only), Western State and Wyoming.
UH is coming off a first place men's finish and a third place women's finish at the Leonard Hilton Memorial, where two Cougar athletes recorded NCAA provisional times. Juniors Seun Adigun and Ivan Diggs set provisional marks after winning the 60m hurdles and the high jump, respectively. Senior Ebonie Floyd also recorded an NCAA qualifying mark at the Arkansas Invitational in the 60 meters.
