Fall 2006: Finished second with teammate Juston Perez at the Cougar Classic with a combined time of 38:58... Won the men's 5K race at the Hawaii Big Wave Classic with a time of 15:31.
2006 Indoor: Had a sixth-place finish in the mile and a seventh-place showing in the 3,000 meters at the Conference USA Indoor Championships...had a season-best time of 4:13.43 in the mile when he finished in fourth place at the Tyson Invitational...also ran a time of 4:14.00 to finish in fourth place at the Houston Indoor Invitational...his best time in the 3,000 meters was at the C-USA meet with 8:31.88...was the runner-up in the 3,000 meters at the Boise State Invitational. Outdoor: Had a season-best 3:54.55 finish in the 1,500 meters in the B Section of the Texas Relays... Finished fourth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Conference USA Championships... Recorded a first place finish in the 3,000 meters at t he UTSA Relays... Was also 13th in the 5,000 meters at the conference championships.
