Kade Lane Bowl Diary: Day One

I woke up this morning early, so I could run some errands before we left for Fort Worth. I set out to Wal-mart to buy some snacks for the long bus ride. I also was trying to find a cool case for my new iPod Nano that I got as a graduation present, but I couldn't find one.
We loaded onto the bus at noon. It was the most comfortable bus ride that I have ever had in my career because a lot of the guys that live in the Metroplex drove up yesterday after practice. We watched a movie, and I gave some of the other players some of my abundance of snack food.
When we got to Fort Worth, it was cold, probably in the 40s, but somehow I sweated once I got off of the bus. That's because I had to carry three bags up a few flights of stairs. The bags were full of clothes, toiletries and my Playstation 2. We had a brief meeting and then we were sent off to eat dinner on our own.
I am about to head off with a few of the guys, eat some dinner, and cruise around Downtown Fort Worth for a while.
