C-USA Commissioner Honors UH Student-Athletes

HOUSTON, Texas - A total of 92 University of Houston student-athletes earned recognition to the Commissioner's Honor Roll during the 2003-04 academic year, C-USA Commissioner Britton Banowsky announced today. A total of 1,719 league student-athletes from the 15 member schools were honored.
Student-athletes named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and participate in a conference-sponsored sport. Student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or above also receive the Commissioner's Academic Medal.
Women's swimming and diving paced the UH academic award winners with 16, followed by women's track and field with 15. The highest honored men's program is track and field with 10.
