UH Homecoming for the City of Houston

HOUSTON, Texas - The Houston Cougars are welcoming the City of Houston to the "Your Home Team Experience 2004." The football game versus East Carolina and the homecoming festivities will take place on Saturday, November 6 at Robertson Stadium on the main campus of the University of Houston. Kick off is scheduled for 4 p.m.
Every resident of the City of Houston is being called upon to attend this game and event celebrating UH as the city's university. Tickets to the game are $5 with a coupon from the Houston Chronicle. This $5 coupon will be located in the Chronicle's Sports Section during the week of November 1.
"We feel UH is the city's university so homecoming should welcome all residents of the city," said Dave Maggard, UH Athletics Director.
Houston City Council will present a proclamation at the UH Football press conference on Tuesday, November 2 at 11:30 a.m. recognizing the "Your Home Team Experience" as an annual event.
Before the game on November 6 from 1 p.m. - 3:30 p.m., UH will be extending their hospitality and welcoming the all residents of Houston to a tailgate party outside of Robertson Stadium. Live entertainment and interactive games for kids will be provided FREE of charge.
During the game, UH will recognize the City of Houston employees as well as University of Houston Alumni.
