Clarke and Golston Post Fourth-Place at Texas Invitational

Austin, Texas - Rhian Clarke and Vanessa Golston had fourth place finishes in the pole vault and 1500-meter run, respectively, at the Texas Invitational on Saturday, May 4. Clarke had a vault of 12 feet, 5 1/2 inches (3.80 meters) and Golston had a season-best time of 4:45.35 in the 1500 meters. Kelly McCarty finished seventh in the 1500 meters with a tie of 4:50.56 and Tinisha Wesley finished sixth in the shot put with a mark of 42 feet, 8 3/4 inches (13.02 meters). Jasmin Jackson finished in eighth place with a long jump of 19 feet, 1 1/2 inches (5.83 meters).
