The National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame--with more than 8,000 members in over 80 chapters throughout the United State--conducts two major programs that make significant contributions in achieving its lofty goals:
*Preserving the spirit of football, its character-building attributes and its vital role in the education process
*Using these attributes in the development of scholarship and leadership
*Recognizing and honoring accomplishments both on and off the field
*Providing permanence to the history of these accomplishments
COLLEGE FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME
Since its early beginnings in 1951, the College Football Hall of Fame has grown to become one of the world's major sports shrines. Today, more than 500 players and coaches--those whose careers have exemplified the Foundation's basic creed of Scholarship, Citizenship and Performance--are enshrined at the College Football Hall of Fame.
The temple of the great college football men, honoring those who have honored the game with their achievement, is the creation and ongoing commitment of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame.
