Evaluation on last week's game against Cincinnati
The performance as an offense as a whole was a little disappointing. We didn't run the ball well enough to play action pass off of it. When we passed they knew what we were going to do and that is a credit to them and their defense. My performance was unacceptable, throwing three interceptions and under fifty percent, just cannot have that. The bright side was Torrence (Botts) came in and moved the ball real well got a score, he completed most of his passes and he did real well running the ball. He had a good game and it was nice for him to get in there and get some reps and getting experience. Just a bad game for the offense as a whole.
South Florida beat ya'll pretty bad last year. Is there a revenge factor heading into this game?
Definitely we remember they ran the score up on us last year and we didn't forget. We want to get them back for that year. It is going to take a complete game from offense and defense because they are just such a good team. They have a good defense it is solid. We just have to come together and play like we were playing a couple of weeks ago.
Did the weather have any outcome with the game it sounded like it was really cold?
I believe it did in my mind. A lot of the guys were not prepared for the cold; most of them come from climates that are like Houston. It got cold in Houston but it was nothing like it was up in Cincinnati. I think it still had some bearing on what happened but still that is not an excuse for the game. We just played pretty bad and you can't blame that on the weather.
This will no doubt be a tough game to bounce back from for the entire squad how do you feel about the remaining two games?
We feel good nobody has given up yet. We are still going to keep on fighting we like the next two games because we are at home even though they are our two toughest opponents. Hopefully we can beat South Florida first before we start thinking about Louisville and finish the season 500 who knows what can happen form there.
