Cougar Golf Team Bounces back at the Ridges

Individually, senior All-America candidate Andy Sanders led the charge Sunday with a six-under par 66, the best round of the day and tied for the best 18 holes of any competitor all weekend. The native of Merritt Island, Florida, finished in a tie for 16th place shooting rounds of 74-76-66=216 to finish even-par for the tournament and eight shots off the lead. Junior Wade Ormsby likewise rebounded from a 79 in the opening round with a combined one-over par for the final 36 holes. Two sophomores and two freshmen (one as an individual) also saw action for Cougar golfers.
